SUCCESS IS EASY, BUT SO IS NEGLECTPeople often ask us how we became so successful in such a short period of time while many of the people we knew did not. The answer is simple:
The things we found to be easy to do, they found to be easy not to do.
We found it easy to set the goals that could change our life. They found it easy not to.
We found it easy to read the books that could affect our thinking and our ideas. They found that easy not to.
We found it easy to attend the classes and the seminars, and to get around other successful people. They said it probably really wouldn't matter.
If we had to sum it up, we would say what we found to be easy to do, they found to be easy not to do.
Three years later, we are very successful with expanding future prospects and they are all still blaming the economy, the government, the company, the products, the mailshots and even us, yet they neglected to do the basic, easy things.
In fact, the primary reason most people are not doing as well as they could and should, can be summed up in a single word: NEGLECT ! It is not the lack of money - banks are full of money. It is not the lack of opportunity - much of the free World continues to offer the most unprecedented and abundant opportunities in the last six thousand years of recorded history. If you don't know what route to take follow someone who is successful. They will have already weeded out the rubbishy time-wasting so called opportunities. It is not the lack of information, you have all the information you need. It's not the lack of a money making system........... you definitely have that. Everything you would ever need to become rich and powerful and sophisticated is within your reach. The major reason that so few take advantage of all that we have is simply, NEGLECT. Neglect is like an infection. Left unchecked it will spread throughout our entire system of disciplines and eventually lead to a complete breakdown of a potentially joy-filled and prosperous human life. Don't let it ruin your prospects. Not doing the things we know we should do causes us to feel guilty and guilt leads to an erosion of self-confidence. As our self-confidence diminishes, so does the level of our activity. The result? No results, it is that simple. The chances are you will still find there are things you can't do. Don't get a complex about it just find an alternative way. Any activity beats no activity. If our activity diminishes, our results inevitably decline. And as our results suffer, our attitude begins to weaken. And as our attitude begins the slow shift from positive to negative, our self-confidence diminishes even more ... and on and on it goes. The chances are you will still find there are things you can't do. Don't get a complex about it just find an alternative way. Any activity beats no activity So our suggestion is that when giving the choice of "easy to" and "easy not to" that you do not neglect to do the simple, basic, "easy"; but potentially life-changing activities and disciplines. Just question your attitudes and efforts honestly. Your current results will give you a very good indication of why you are where you are. Do the things that you find are uncomfortable now and you will be amazed at the growth of your skills and how the results will start to flow. You know it is not a total 100% change you are seeking just a small improvement will be enough to get the momentum. The longest journey in the world can only start if you take the first step. If you say that you still cannot do it go to someone who is severely disabled, that might put things into perspective for you. We wish you every SUCCESS but know that what you achieve is largely within you own control. JUST DO IT!
